Portugal is the world’s largest producer of this material, which has extraordinary characteristics: lightweight, water-resistant and absorbent, and used for thermal and acoustic insulation. It also has a naturally beautiful appearance. They’re sourced by A Vida Portuguesa, a small women-owned, Lisbon-based shop  focused on goods made in Portugal. Each Round Cork Coaster measures 3.3”diam.
